The only dinner option is the hotel but it is good and has a kids menu. We had our own clean, modern bathroom, but it was down the hall from our room (not an issue just wanting others to be aware). Note if you don’t drive to the hotel, you have to pay for the gondola. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. They are very welcoming with our dog, and even the restaurant allowed her in, and provided her with a bowl of water. Although it’s quite dated in terms of decor, it’s quirky and unique, and great value for money (in Wengen). It’s in an amazing location, within really short walking distance to everything, and we’d stay again. Thanks for a fab stay."

"Hotel Wolter was a very clean, very friendly hotel. Staff was nice and helpful. The room was small (I rented a room for one), but had everything I needed, including a balcony with view on the mountains. Breakfast was excellent. Location is convenient to everything, grocery store 1 minute away, lifts to the mountains 10-15 minutes away walking, or you can take the bus in front of the hotel. Train station is a 2 minute walk away. The only drawback is that I had to sleep with the door to the balcony open (no AC in the rooms), and my room gave on the Main Street, and it was loud at night and especially in the mornings when deliveries started around 5:30 am. Not all rooms give on the street, so try to get one that doesn’t! Overall great pick and I would gladly come back! "
