The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff especially helpful. It is a gem to discover , so close to the airport when one needs that final overight stay before flying out of Florence. And to the airport is a shuttle - another positive.

Stayed one night. The room was clean & comfortable. We had delicious lasagna and good drinks at the on-site bar & restaurant. The airport shuttle is a HUGE plus. Close to the Giuliani tram station. Only negative is the surrounding neighborhood/area didn't feel like the best area to walk through after dark

Staff are very helpful, accommodated our needs like luggage storage and booking a taxi. This hotel has a restaurant right in the main reception area, open for breakfast early, and late drinks. Walkable to Metro station, we went shopping all day and did not have to book a taxi. Also not very far to the Train station, cost about 12 euro by taxi. Would definitely stay there again.

From start to finish this was a wonderful "airport hotel" experience! The staff were super helpful in organizing a very early (4am) shuttle for me and answered every question I had swiftly. I didn't get to spend much time in the hotel as I was only there for a quick nap before flying out early in the am, but every staff member I encountered was friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and perfect for my needs. It's an airport hotel, so I did find there to be a little bit of noise from other guests (which comes with these kinds of hotels due to everyone arriving/leaving at every hour of the day, but overall I would definitely stay here again if I was in transit to/from Florence. It was worth it just for the shuttle alone! Thank you- will stay again!

This is a family owned and run hotel and they really made everyone feel at home. The property is beautiful and the rooms very large for Europe. We will stay there anytime we can and highly recommended it for anyone.

Used this hotel to stay near the airport. Said it had a shuttle and we paid 15 euros for two of us. Our flight was very early so great to have the shuttle there at 4:30am. Had a small bar and limited restaurant but a nice patio to enjoy a cold drink during the heat wave. Good value if you need an airport hotel.

Easy check in with keyless entry to building and room. Despite other reviews, it’s easy and they send you a link with easy to follow instructions. Also we we created by staff after we opened the doors who explained amenities. Bar and small bistro. He also scheduled airport transfer for us for 15 euro fo family of four and 8 bags! Room was tidy, clean and well kept.

I have to say, after staying in some very luxurious places in Italy, the best air-conditioning and the best water pressure for a shower were at Hotel Franchi. My family and I joked about this, as it was really true! There is a lovely garden where we enjoyed a take-out lunch. The bartender gave us a fantastic restaurant recommendation only a 7-minute walk away (Bivio) which was delicious, fun and had a robust neighborhood vibe. We were only there 1 night, but it was a solid, positive experience!
