Forbidden Plateau Tours

So first off I’ll say that all the staff were fantastic. They were helpful, prompt, and gave good suggestions. But for the room, you get what you pay for. Linens were clean but I didn’t get a full sized towel, only a hand towel, washcloth, and bath mat. I did not take a shower (it was a big walk-in) because the tile floor looked…questionable. The queen bed was nice but mattress seemed well used so I didn’t end of sleeping under the covers, just used the spare blanket from the closet. The walls are barren, some paint missing in some areas, and the window had a gap where it closed so I could hear outside conversations and cars pretty clearly, but I was exhausted so I just slept through it. Nice sized mini-fridge, little pod coffee machine, and big tv. They even threw in a bottle of wine with my stay which was very nice. No elevator so I watch others drag their suitcases up and down the stairs, as did I eventually lol. The area from downtown to the hotel is AWFUL. Not the hotels fault, but be very careful where you go walking around, lots of drug use in the area. Grocery store across the street helped a lot but they don’t have a lot in ways of smaller snacks, go to the dollar store down the street for that. The brewery downstairs is delicious and the staff are super great. Overall, not the worst place I’ve been but if you are looking for more comfort than affordability for more than one night, I’d pay a little more and stay closer to downtown. Otherwise I give it 3/5.

Hotel staff was very helpful and location of hotel was perfect for our stay
