"My family and I had a very enjoyable stay at Tern Cottage. It was very comfortable and had everything you would need for a longer stay (washing machine was particularly useful). We also had mid stay housekeeping which we were very impressed with. The location of the Cottage is extremely close to all the shops, seafront, park and train station. Any queries we had were dealt with very promptly by the owner Kristin. She was very helpful and friendly. Would recommend a stay here whether short or longer term."

"the carpet in lounge was very dirty, and looking at previous reviews. this has been the case for at least the last 2 years, unless you locked the front door behind you, the front door was rattling. there was a small hole in one of the douvet covers and limited cookware, the hose to the onsite vacuum was not fitting, there was no wifi in the house and only main stream tv channels, in todays world thats very basic, wifi was advertised, the leather sofa arms had what looked like scratch marks on them, which was splitting the leather. and no bath towls, and we wont even talk about the parking ticket we got, while at the time displaying a disabilty blue badge"

"Place was reasonably clean, a lot of mold in the grout in the master bedroom. There’s a washer but no dryer missing some basic amenities no soap holders just a bottle of soap on the floor in the shower no Kleenex no TV in the master bedroom description of it sleeping 10 people is accurate. As long as four of them are kids that go into the room with built-in bunkbeds think that should be emphasized in the add more no trash cans in any of the bedrooms very minimal as far as things hanging on the walls and tables no chair in the master bedroom. Think the main picture they have up in the description is misleading about which house you’re going to be staying in when they send you the final entry details. They have red arrows pointing at the small house to the right in the photo taking up less than 1/3 of the photo. Other than that, our stay was great. Enjoyed the neighborhood."

"Accommodation was fine, clean and had hardly any issues. But just a few comments. We are both in our mid 70's and my wife having had recent back surgery had a lot of difficulty climbing and descending 4 flights of very narrow stairs. Even I had trouble with them and I do not have big feet but I had to go down sideways. I am surprised they meet building standards. Could definitely do with a printed welcome pack in the room to get guests started with the amenities, there were no instructions for anything. No Microwave in the kitchen? Freezer door was not sealing properly and kept the door from closing all the way which caused ice build up."
