“We chose this property for its proximity to Great Sand Dunes National Park, relying on the Expedia listing that promised A/C and a washer/dryer. Unfortunately, the house was very hot upon arrival, and the washer was broken. We had two main issues: Broken Washer: The washer was the primary reason we rented a house instead of a hotel. The owner later revealed a previous guest broke it, and they were unable to fix it. However, they failed to warn us in advance so we could make other laundry……

“I’ve now stayed at this house at least 5 different times and through every season of the year. The house is very spacious and cozy. The back porch is a great spot to have meals or to just sit. It’s incredibly close to hiking trails, horse riding, restaurants, and the ski resort. And it’s a quick drive over to La Veta. The house is always incredibly clean, has a great selection of board games, book, cds, vhs, and dvds. It has plenty of bedrooms, a very comfy living room, and plenty of everything……

“No one answered the phone. When I got there, it was clearly being renovated and not ready to take on customers. Not a soul there. I booked it nearly two weeks out, and my getaway was a bust because I couldn't even get in. Why is it up to be booked when it is clearly not ready for customers. Ruined my holiday weekend getaway. Will not recommend.”
