“I had booked the hotel for the previous night as I was arriving early in the morning. I have had problems with this in the past; they were ready for me and check in was seamless. The location is excellent with multiple places to dine a short walk away. The breakfast buffet was excellent.”

“I never had of Newcastle West before, but if you are ever in this town, this is the place to be.
My wife considered the breakfast "the best Irish breakfast in Ireland," and who am I to disagree?
We truly enjoyed our stay (and the breakfast) as well the friendly staff including (especially Derek the manager).
We need disability-friendly accommodations, and this hotel, in this regard, was a great place to stay.
The true test of any hotel, is "Would you go back?," and we would gladly come back……

“The hotel was a delightful surpise; charming architecture and decor with several lounge rooms and 3 restaurants off the reception area. Our room, though not “large” was bigger than most rooms on our trip, including luxury hotels we stayed in. It was immaculately clean and well furnished with a small refrigerator, small dining table, comfortable chairs, and desk area. It is an older hotel but renovated well.
