“I stayed here for one night after walking 15 miles from Pontevedra on the Camino de Santiago Pros: -The women at the front desk was very kind and let me check in 3 hours early -The price is hard to beat as it was 35 euros for 1 night for a single standard room with king bed (the rooms are also very spacious) Cons: -You feel like you are entering and exiting a maximum security prison as you can only enter and exit the premise through a gate that has to be opened by talking to person at reception……

“Servicio excelente, desayuno muy bueno para la categoría del establecimiento pero nuestra habitación era vieja, no bajaba bien la persiana y el baño aunque limpio era de los 80 y no se merece esa distribución o esa cortina. La terraza es muy bonita y permite disfrutar del entorno y la playa está a dos metros con aparcamiento y buenos servicios”

“Das angenehmste Hotel seit langen! Das Zimmer mit Doppelbett ist sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Die Wände bestehen aus Granitsteinen, die sehr sauber verarbeitet sind. Die Fenster lassen sich mit Innen-Fensterladen verdunkeln. Das Haupthaus war früher eine Wassermühle. Der Bach fließt unverändert idyllisch über das Grundstück. Es gibt einen Weinberg und entsprechend eigenen Wein zur Verkostung und zum Kaufen. Klasse mit Liebe zubereitetes Frühstück. Die Eigentümer und Betreiber……

“One of the staff on reception (a blond lady) and a member of the bar staff were the worst I’ve come across in over 40 years of travelling. They were rude and unhelpful. This appears to be a common experience amongst guests. It’s a shame as the hotel is lovely but my advice to fellow travellers would be to look elsewhere.”

“La verdad hemos quedado encantados con el hotel y el servicio extraordinario que nos dieron Patricia, Daniel y Francisco! Hicieron hasta lo imposible por atendernos y hacer mucho mas de lo necesario para hacernos sentir en casa. El hotel espectacular! El edificio de piedra está como nuevo, muy bien restaurado porque es de 1815. Está muy bien ubicado. Nos recomendaron un excelente restaurant muy cerca y a menos de 10 minutos en auto está la catedral de Santiago de Compostela. Lo recomendamos……
