Nestled on top of the hill, This beautiful log home has two bathrooms and three bedrooms, Sleeps 6 comfortably but can sleep up to 9. 2000 sq ft one level.. handicap accessible. Firewood is available here with a donation.
Unique beams fill the house and cathedral ceilings in the living room. Working fireplace in the kitchen/dining room area.

Gorgeous rock walls and brick paths Lead you around the property to look at all the amazing flowers. Lay in the sun out on the front patio Or sit in the shade on the front deck, For a change of pace you could even hang out in the gazebo! There are 2 fire pits, One up close to the house and one down by the creek. This property is on 1.77 acres. It has an extremely large flat and wide driveway for trailers/boats. Carport is 15 x 20 ( gives parking for motorcycles) and grill and seating to eat outside. Owner lives on the bottom of the property. Property is completely handicap accessible. Firewood is here! Please donate for what you use. Please do not bring your own. Thanks in advance.

All new mattresses and linings and even a bar with all that is needed to make great cocktails!

Great Cabin in Beautiful Area
The cabin is beautiful and very roomy. There are 3 spacious bedrooms all decorated and adorned beautifully. There was a large kitchen table with a large living/entertainment room. It was just me and my wife but could see how great it would be for our entire family. Christy was great and made sure we had everything we needed. Franklin is a beautiful town with lots a good restaurants and outdoor activities. The Smokey Mountain Center for Performing Arts often has great shows and is worth checking out too. Overall we had a great trip and would definitely come rent again, especially if we bring our family to the area.

Great place for a relaxing getaway.

Charming Old House
This is a house in a residential neighborhood. It is a charming, immaculate home, well kept and obviously loved. We enjoyed having ground level parking and loading/unloading. The church bells sounding in the distance was so pleasant and peaceful. Parking was a dream, easy turn around space.

Fathers Bday trip
7 of the family went to the mountains for my dads birthday! The log cabin is rustic in all the right ways, and still has all the modern things you’d need. My son said it looked liked Lincoln logs! It’s not a far trip into Franklin and several yummy places to eat. Chris has such a lovely place and was such a sweet host! We enjoyed our stay and would return!

Family respite
This is a wonder, large, and nice appointed home with an amazing collection of gardens, extra large front porch, and tremendous mountain view! The host is a great communicator and extremely helpful. She provided for all of our needs and made sure throughout the visit that we had everything we needed. We couldn't have asked for anything more. We will definitely return again.

We cannot say enough positive things about the property, location and most of all the hostess (Chris). We were on a 7 day motorcycle trip. We were delayed on arrival by storms. Chris took her time and her vehicle and took one of us grocery shopping and made sure we had what we needed for our stay. On top of that, one of our motorcycles broke down and she allowed us to stay an extra night. One of the most enjoyable times is when we had coffee with her in the morning. All of this is before we get in to how nice the house and property is. The house was clean and even better than described. Garden and grounds were exceptionally manicured. One of the best times was sitting on the porch enjoying the view with a coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. If you are a motorcycle enthusiast, property is perfect for covered motorcycle parking for 6 bikes and perfectly located for Moonshiner 28, Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway. Thank you so much Chris for everything and making a tough situation great!!

Excited to return for some R & R
The creek, the view, the flowers, the pathways, the front porch, the hummingbirds, the fire pits, the house, the owner, and the fireflies all contributed to making our stay in the mountains our favorite trip ever. The hostess went above and beyond to welcome us to her gorgeous property. The interior is spacious and the exterior offers lots of options for gathering to enjoy the splendor of the property. It was a lovely "home" away from home. We are already looking at the calendar to plan our return trip to this amazing place.

A Peaceful Time Capsule
Best bang for the buck for sure. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy a relaxing stay in the mountains with plenty to do. Plenty of games to play, beautiful views, tons of antique time capsules with just the perfect blend of modern extras to let this cabin fit all personality types. I love it, I’ll definitely save this property to my favorites and I’ll definitely return.

This Cabin is Super Cool!
The cabin exceeded every expectation we had based on the photos. Believe me, the photos don't do this place justice. It's got a level of charm & character, I doubt I'll ever find again anywhere else. The host was kind and full of warmth.....almost like a cousin I hadn't seen in many years. The whole place just felt......RIGHT. The whole of the cabin & the surrounding acreage are as picturesque as a Norman Rockwell painting.........Wait until you hear the church bells ring...... far off in the distance every single morning! I recorded them multiple times during my stay. The dogs, especially Stella, are a joy to be around. This vacation rental was PURE PERFECTION.

What a sweet retreat!
This property was charming and cozy! The beautifully landscaped yard and welcoming porch were just perfect for quiet time in the morning while sipping my coffee. The fire pit was an added bonus. If you are looking for a cozy retreat in the beautiful Franklin area, this is your place!
