Peaceful place on the Bayou
It was perfect location. Peaceful place to relax before starting busy season at work. The host goes above and beyond in the amenities at the house for guests to use, including a waffle station. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Peaceful Wolf River Getaway
We had a wonderful time at The Pickled Northern. Just what we were looking for. Plenty of space for all 6 adults to be comfortable. If we had little kids, the room with the 2 double bunk beds would be perfect, but it was also perfect for my adult sons because the lower beds are full size or queen! I cannot say enough about how clean the house was. The owners are wonderful and do a great job with this property!

Wolf River Cruise
Great home and host! We had 3 couples, and everyone was very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. I have a 21 ft v-hull boat and we were able to make it through the channel to the home even though the river was low. 2-3 feet at the entrance to the channel, and 5-7 to the home. Thanks Josh!

Great Fishing Getaway
The Pickled Northern was a great getaway for our small group. It's great location on the Wolf River enabled the fishermen in our group to do lots of fishing while the rest of us relaxed on the patio or inside. Josh provided several nice touches like a few snacks and drinks and was super helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

Pickled Northern Details
What we enjoyed the most were the details. The house was stocked well. Popcorn, s’mores, pancake/waffle mix, coffee….and that is just in the kitchen. Many toiletries were in the full bathroom for use. There are chairs and lots of seating outside. But the best detail was the phone chargers in the bedrooms! What a clever thing to include. The location is a few minutes to downtown. The community is quiet and everyone was very friendly. We had a great stay and will return.

We had an amazing time , everything was great. Plenty of space inside and outside , the house was clean and well stocked up with all basic needs for cooking . Home away from Home! Loved everything about it!
The hosts were the most pleasant to work work with. The communication was always timely and they were always so accommodating and understanding. I have to say this home topped it all. Not only is the home beautiful inside and out, they provided all accommodations, accessories, and amenities, to make it feel homely and stress-free. My family and I enjoyed everything about the home and will be coming back again next year. Thank you for making this year the best!
