We also had a car so we could travel around the island as we like to get out and see other areas getting to know the people, food and culture of Roatan. We highly recommend this property for an pleasant time in Roatan. "

The house itself is in a quieter area and there are not many dining options, but taxis were readily available and we had no problems getting around! Wpuld absolutely stay in this home again!"

Had the reviews mentioned the road work & the silt & that the water was not that great we would have not booked. The reef is not that close. "This was our second visit to Phoenix House. The primary reason we like this location (Sundancer) is the access to the reef. There are very few places in the tropical snorkeling business in the world where you can access a coral reef with a 10 minute swim. No boat rental necessary. Yes, you cross a boat channel, so heads up. My idea of heaven."
