“La habitacion, el restaurante, el staff, todo excelente”

“yes the staff were courteous. It was annoying that when you walked up 3 flights of stairs to get to Herbie's the restaurant door was locked and they wouldn't let you in that way. They insist that you take the elevator via the garage but I don't like elevators if I can avoid them ”

“For a reasonable price, it was clean spacious, close to everything, and had a nice porch with a peak at half moon bay. It's a bit worn, and not fancy but more than adequate. The staff were very helpful. ”

“I loved the location of this property! The buildings themselves have so much potential. The insides are very outdated and run down. The coffee maker was burnt and stuck to the warming plate and the sheets had drains. BUT you can’t beat the location and super friendly staff. The pool was super clean and warm with a nice outdoor shower. I would definitely come back here if they lowered the price for current condition of the buildings. And I would bring my own sheets. You can’t beat the location……

“My stay at the Reef House was exactly what I wanted. It has the old Roatan charm to an old dive shop that has the most welcoming staff I have ever met. From the owner Davey to Keith the IT/Bartender and the friendliest cook staff that makes great down home cooking. David the dive master has been out on the reef longer than most have known about Roatan. He knows some really cool places to see.”

“ We are here now and cannot recommend this hotel enough. They coordinated an airport shuttle so getting here was very easy. The beach is beautiful. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. Special shoutout to Gina who has been so sweet to my kids. If safety is a concern, don’t think twice about booking here. It’s very safe. The entire island is but the hotel is secluded which adds the extra layer for safety. I’m traveling solo with two kids ages 7 and 9. The hotel is mainly diving……

“The apartment was in bad shape. The only hot water was the bathroom sink. There was bugs in the apartment. The furniture was falling apart. The apartment lucked like it was under Construction. I would not advise booking a stay here. ”

“When we arrived there were no rooms available, even though we had a prepaid guarenteed reservation through Orbitz, and we were turned away. When we requested a refund via Orbitz it was denied. We were out aproximately $100 for the room and $25 for a taxi to another hotel. The only positive was that the Hotel clerk did help us find another hotel. I chated with and Orbitz agen for about 15 - 20 minutes who was virtually no help at all. ”
