"I’ll start with the good… The breakfast was decent. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed in our stay. I could smell smoke in my room, even though it was smoke from outside. The bathtub looked dirty. And the TV didn’t work. When I brought it up, he tried to tell me how to fix it, but that did not work. When I went down again, they basically shrugged their shoulders, and I was forced to try to fix it myself. Two other people were also complaining about the TV. The fitness center was just a treadmill and a multiple workout station. Unfortunately the workout station had a broken cable with no signs saying not to use it. This could’ve easily been a hazard, waiting to happen. Also, I reserved my room weeks ago and when I tried to check in, they could not find my room and told me they weren’t sure they had one. Unfortunately, the service was very slow and check-in took almost 15 minutes. I have stayed at La Quinta Inn before, but I will not stay at this one ever again"

"We had a pleasant interaction with the staff, who were very nice and helpful, and we enjoyed the breakfast. Unfortunately, the room's cleanliness fell short. The carpets were not well-cleaned, and the bed sheets were not secured properly. After rolling over, the sheets slipped off, exposing an unpleasant stain on the mattress."

"We felt let down after seeing the high ratings here. PROs: Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was similar to most, but a bit better. Rooms were tidy. Large fridge. Easy parking and some was shaded. CONs: Property and rooms were a bit worn--scraped paint on many doors, and not the newest appliances. Biggest complaint is mildew-smelling rooms. We had 2 and both pungently needed new shower curtains. Dinner TIP: Angela's, a nearby mom-and-pop Italian, surprised us with their flavors. It seemed like a locals' choice for takeout pizza."
