“This place was amazing. The room was big and we had a beautiful view on the back forest. We had two choices of Onsen (outside and inside) and both were very clean, comfortable and beautiful. The staff went above and beyond for us. Because there was not of other guest, we were able to have one side of the Onsen for us instead of being separated man and woman. The night we had food at the ryoko was wonderful and te food was delicious. Our stay there truly was amazing and I would go back any...

“Our favorite stop by far. The kids adored the place and the owners, it’s like staying with loving grandparents. A very traditional, authentic Japanese household with natural hot springs, and traditional bath robes provided. The fixtures are in their original state, they reflect the history of a family that have shared their way of life with wondering guests throughout the years. The breakfast was very traditional and generous, we enjoyed it with green tea and sitting on the floor with low table....

“Amazing and magical experience! The hospitality of the staff is at a very high standard. Perfect for couples. Every room is different but they each have a private onsen with hot spring water. Only stayed one night and it’s been highlight of our 2 week Japan trip so far. ”
