While we loved the unique look and ambiance of hotel, we were not satisfied with our room. The room was VERY small with a difficult layout. There was only room for the King bed, which took up the entire room. There was no closet and no where to hang longer clothing items except on a hook. However, the microwave was immediately below, so longer items would "bunch up" on the top of the microwave. There was also a non- working lamp, so the room was dark. The window looked out on the brick walls of the rest of the hotel, so no natural light at all.
Most importantly, the AC was broken and the room was 78 degrees all night. The front desk staff said there was nothing they could do. They instructed my husband to remove the wall panel for the HVAC system and try to re-set the unit. It did not work. Also, we were only given 1 washcloth. The front desk asked us to come down to get more. We shared that we had just gotten back for the evening and had undressed already, so she brought them up. We were only there for 1 night, so we stuck it out, but for the money we paid, our experience was not commensurate.
