Absolutely terrible beds, like sleeping on a trampoline. It is impossible to share a bed . No room safe and if you want to check your computer/bag at the bellhop station the lines are literally put the front door, taking forever. Beautiful are of Pittsburgh with a wonderful view. Easy access to all downtown amenities.

View from upper floor was spectacular. Day of check-in was during the MS network outage which caused HUGE delays all day. Not the hotel's fault...but there seemed to be no plan how to manage several hundred people/groups checking in at once and utter chaos ensued. The lobby was jammed with people and luggage; parking at the valet was near impossible there were so many cars blocking the street it caused gridlock. The concierge staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the bar-tenders were great! The pool was way too small for a hotel that size.

We had a long wait at check in because of the global computer issue but that was to be expected. I was surprised that a company this large would not have a plan in place in case of an issue like this. Paid for a river view and while it was “river side” our view was of maintenance steps to the pool area. The staff were all nice, restaurant was good, valet employees were great. If you stay here I recommend requesting to not be on the 4th floor. The gym and pool are on that floor and we heard people going in and out all night.

Waited 45 minutes for valet to be told it was full and to park in a garage that was a 10 minute walk carrying luggage. I checked out a day earlier, the hallways were noisy with kids running up and down the hall. The shower was grimey and the room smelled musky.

Super convenient location, walk to plenty of shopping and dining options. We opted to self park in a nearby garage which worked out well because we either ealked or used public transit to get around. They were not checking anyone in early, so the lobby was a mad house at 4:00 given the Picklesburgh festival and Pirates games happening this weekend. The lines moved quickly though and the staff were polite through the process. This led to quite a traffic jam at the elevators with only a few working. Patrons definitely need to bring their patience on such a busy weekend in the city! Our rooms were clean and adequate,maybe a bit small but we were only there long enough to change before the game and sleep after so it wasnt a big deal, and I didn't experience the musty odor so many mentioned in their reviews. Overall, for the price in comparison to what other comparable hotels downtown were charging, our stay was pleasant enough that I wouldn't count this location out for a repeat stay in the future.

There is no parking lot here! Mostly valet parking is available. The room was clean, the view was VERY nice and the staff was very accommodating. There is a "market square" within walking distance with eateries like Chipotle, Dunkin Donuts and Moe's. Will definitely revisit next time we are in Pittsburgh.
