The hotel has places to relax just off the reception area, lots of comfee seats Pleasant walk across the road along the bank of the Loch although this is probably busy during the summer season”

“We loved our two nights stay at Melfort House. It was peaceful idyll that restored us somewhat as we were nearing the end of our road trip through Scotland. Matthew is a wonderful host, and we felt welcome in his home. The breakfast offerings were top notch, and our room and bed were so comfortable. The location was perfect for a day trip to nearby Oban, which should not be missed, particularly for the seafood and Oban Distillery tour. “The staff at the Crinan was extremely helpful. Our flight delays had us getting there well after midnight and staff was ready to get us checked in and settled as soon as we arrived. I wish that we had more time to spend exploring the local area. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious and the coffee shop is an added bonus. Our room was perfect and the bed was amazingly comfortable. Definitely reccommend staying at the hotel!”
