“Super central location for lifts and amenities in the pretty town of Morzine. Hotel Igloo was an excellent option for a family of 3 as we had a two room suite. The hotel is very clean with great facilities too. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and it was nice to have use of the kitchen for a couple of nights when we didn't want to eat out. Overall a great choice.”

“Great location, 5 mins from slopes and shops. Location was quiet and the bar next door was a really good with pool table, dart board and lots of games. Nice family run business.”

“Dirty rooms, problem with car park, if you come for breakfast just before 9 you can’t expect to find bread, eggs or even coffee…”

“Terrible place - this is a low budget hotel. You can’t even lean over the sink for a shelf that is in the way. The bathroom are made of very old plastic tub units. Hardly any clothes hanging space. The eating area was not clean with stale food left out.”

“We had a wonderful stay here, right at the foot of the slopes. Our room was amazing as we were on the corner and had a wrap around balcony. It was clean on arrival and serviced daily. Breakfast was nice although there could have been more warm vegetarian options for my friend. The spa facilities were nice after a day on the slopes although the jacuzzi could have been a bit warmer. The staff were warm and friendly and helpful. Ski lockers were a bit small but there is a ski hire shop next……

“Basic French mountain accommodation. Good set up with friendly helpful staff. Avoriaz is pretty cool, loads of amenities. Stayed here for summer MTB, would probably stay again. Little bit tired in apartment but that’s standard unless you’re paying top end.”

“Hotel très correct dans l'ensemble mais cher pour les infrastructures je trouve. La chambre m'a couté 380€ la nuit pour une baignoire jacuzzi malheureusement ne donnant pas une vue sur la montagne ou autre mais plus sur des arbres... Au niveau du spa cela est satisfaisant mais pas très grand. Tout peut être très vite complet. Petit déjeuner très bon. Je recommande vivement mais en restant sur les chambres de base à 200€ qui ne se différencie pas vraiment d'une plus haut de gamme.”
