"We’ve stayed here a few times. They updated in key areas. And it’s definitely a budget friendly place to stay. The beds aren’t the comfiest, but the kitchen is so handy. Kids enjoyed the pool. Everything is clean, well maintained in our opinion. Even though it’s a simple continental breakfast, real coffee would be appreciated, not instant 😅. But otherwise, it’s typical cereal, packaged muffins, boiled eggs, yogurt and abit of fresh fruit, breads with jellies and peanut butter and cream cheese to select from. Basic, does the job, handy with kids, grab and go. If you want a “real breakfast” you get a percentage off at the Ricky’s all day on the main level of the hotel. We will most likely always book here, as we have a lot of dieters restrictions and cook most of our own food, and spend most of the day out hiking trails etc. "

"Absolute gem of a hotel. Great location, friendly staff and super clean. You can walk all over downtown Sidney, just park and enjoy the area. So many incredible shops and restaurants within walking distance. Grab a coffee at the 10 Acres cafe and go for a walk along the waterfront! I must say this is also an excellent spot to stay after an overseas flight. Wake up rested the next day. Looking forward to our next stay."

"Nice, clean, newer hotel. Unfortunately, they have issues with their flooring being extremely squeaky. The flooring in our room was very squeaky, and the people above us were walking continuously and kept us up most of the night. I did mention this to reception when I checked out. There is a lovely sitting area with a creek behind the hotel. "

"The beds were very comfortable, and the view was great. The shower in our room did not work very well. It is definitely an older hotel and could benefit from some updating. It seemed a little pricey for what we got."

"Very clean, comfortable stay. Modern room. They advertised check-in at 3:00 but when we arrived, we were told it was at 4:00. That was disappointing. No physical staff present but were able to reach someone in intercom. Great underground parking —well lit and clean. and lots of free street parking. Would definitely return."

"Seems like a nice family run business. The walk across the road brings you to Hecate Park where you can sit by the sea and enjoy nature."
