“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mukarnas Pera Hotel in Istanbul and highly recommend it!
The hotel itself is outstanding, with a fantastic location, a delicious breakfast, and beautiful, comfortable accommodations. But what truly made our stay special was the amazing staff, especially Fati, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for.
During our stay, my daughter became ill, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They went out of their way to assist us and……
“The hotel had a great boutique vibe. It was in a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. The King Size bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice and clean. Great value….Recommend it highly”
“Check-in was very easy, and the hotel is in a very good location. The rooms are comfortable and have a charming old Turkish style. The staff member was very helpful and assisted me with everything I needed during my stay. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience.”
“Room is good , cleaning every day; stuff is really nice!!! Good location , 1 minute walk to market for groceries . Restaurants nearby. convenient transportation！”
“Great value for money and excellent location if you want to enjoy the proximity of the better restaurants and cafés in Istanbul. Would stay there again just for the location. Quick Über ride gets you everywhere you need to be without staying too close to the busier areas of the city.”

We booked a corner suite which was beautiful, roomy and comfortable and far, far nicer than what we could have had at the Pera Palace for considerably more money (though in retrospect I would have asked for one on a higher floor). The location was quiet but with very quick and easy access to shopping, restaurants, the Galata Tower, the Tunel, and the……
“Absolutely Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had a wonderful experience at Sala Suites. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with great respect, kindness, and professionalism. Everyone was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help.
The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Housekeeping was excellent, and everything we needed was available.
The location is fantastic — right in the heart of the Taksim/Istiklal area, close to……
“The room we booked was advertised as having a city view; however, it only overlooked the front street and the building directly opposite, which felt misleading and disappointing.
Additionally, the stairwell lighting was very poor, making it difficult and unsafe to use when not taking the lift.
Housekeeping was also below standard. My sheets were not changed for the entire 4-night stay, despite there being a visible blood stain on them from a previous guest.
The breakfast was enjoyable, though……
