First of all, we didn’t lose anything. But after room clean the cleaner not closing both front and back door. Our bags and luggages are all in the room for whole day. Also, the first floor has been cleaned but not second floor. Otherwise, it’s ok.

Excellent staff and very helpful. Bathroom fan sounded like an airplane taking off. I couldn’t leave it on more than 1 min. Noise from room AC/ heat was too loud to leave on thru night. Staff had it checked twice. Couldn’t be changed. Bad noise.

Toilet wasn’t attached to the floor and leaked all over the room. Toilet paper holder was bolted to the wall with a piece of wood. Room smelled moldy. Pool was closed. In the parking lot someone left takeout containers on our hood and keyed the entire side of our car. The town was touristy and loud. But staff was pleasant to deal with and the national park was beautiful.

This days inn, on the west side of Gatlinburg (the side like you're going up towards Newfound Gap / Clingmans Dome) (when busy bring the Gatlinburg bypass up to avoid the traffic) is an older building, but it's very clean, bed is comfy, it's right on the strip which makes walking convenience & excellent. You can smoke out on the balcony. They have self serve breakfast, with a coffee machine 24/7. There is an indoor pool behind the lobby / breakfast area. The ONLY downfall is if you stay in one of the front rooms along the street, you hear all the noise from vehicles & motorcycles reving their engines. If you set out from 1115pm onwards on the balcony you will see random bears coming across the street looking for food. And they are decently priced. I would definitely stay again, but not in one of the front street rooms.
