Pet Friendly Moonfall Cottage Gatlinburg

Moonfall Cottage is a veteran owned property. I purchased the cottage at first site just because I was drawn into it's inviting, homey, welcoming energy and was so spotlessly clean; if I didn't know better, I'd think the former owners cleaned the dirt in the yard prior to the sale! This dreamy little cottage offers easy driving access, with no steep winding mountain roads. One floor living with no stairs makes our cottage ideal for everyone. Hardwood floors throughout gives that warm make yourself at home feeling. A fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare that perfect meal or light snack is in the pantry. A Keurig coffee brewer along with coffee grounds, coffee pods, creams and sugars are provided in the kitchen. Not into coffee? We also offer a wide selection of teas for your enjoyment. The kitchen is stocked with soaps, paper towels and trash bags as well. Only the finest bed linens are stretched on top of the super comfortable/Willenburg Tufted queen bed and you will find soft snuggly towels in the bathroom. Extra linens; if needed for the Murphy bed are provided in the living room closet. The bathroom has all the amenities of home with a hair dryer, a variety of soaps, shampoos and toilet paper. The living room has a sofa so comfortable that it envelopes you in cozy comfort. Two recliners make watching your favorite program or movie a special treat. The 42" TV is equipped with Roku so you don't have to miss your favorite program here in the mountains. High speed wifi is available throughout the house and on the outdoor patio. A gas grill is located on the patio with table and chairs and umbrella to enjoy the outdoor dining experience. Special touches, comfortable furniture and cozy bedding are awaiting you and that someone special at Moonfall Cottage!
Note: We are also pet friendly, well behaved potty trained pets up to 40 lbs are always welcome for an additional $50 non-refundable fee.
Foot note for those traveling into the Great Smokey Mountain Park. This year in efforts to better control traffic in the park you will now be required to purchase parking passes available at the Sugarlands Information Office as you enter the park area.

Cozy cabin is a perfect getaway!
My husband and I came to the area for his birthday getaway. We are from Maine and love the wooded area the cabin is in. It was perfect!! The cabin was very clean, bright and cozy! All the extras we needed were there… spices, coffee filters, even candy in the candy dish! Bed was comfy, and the back patio area was perfect for sipping morning coffee… we so enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if we come back to the area. Also the owner was super quick to respond when we needed her for help getting in (the door lock was a little tricky due to rainy weather swelling the door a bit on our first day.) Thank you Laura! It’s a beautiful cabin!

Long weekend away
The Moonfall Cottage is absolutely amazing. It has everything you could possibly need supply wise. The house is so well maintained, cozy, clean and comfortable. It is even doggy friendly--with bed, toys even snacks for your pet. You don't need a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get there either. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return.

Our stay at the Moon Fall Cottage was all we could of hoped for; a true slice of heaven. The cottage was much larger and nicer than even the pictures and extreme care and thoughtfulness went into everything from the decor to the linens, pet comforts and tons of other very thoughtful touches/things provided. Laura was fantastic at communicating when we had questions. We highly recommend this to anyone, and will sure to be back if Laura will have us! Perfection! Julie and Michael

Cozy Cottage
Everything about our stay was great. The cottage was clean and comfortable. We didn’t really do any cooking, but the kitchen was well stocked and the owners provided many extras like coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water and a tray of treats including Moon Pies and candy. Extra items were provided including cozy blankets and candles that made the stay even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this cozy cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the mountains.

Out of the way
The cottage was a sweet quiet place. Everything we needed was provided. The road to the cottage was curvy and the actual driveway was a rough chipseal road but was only 1/10 of mile. We would stay again if we made it back to Gatlinburg

This house was even better than I expected. It’s small but very roomy and in a very nice and quiet location. It was very clean and we brought our dog with us and he loved it there too. I would definitely recommend this location as it’s so close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I will absolutely stay here again. Thank you Laura for this beautiful cabin.

Wonderful Cottage
The cottage is extremely clean. It has a lot of kitchen utensils and cook ware. The bed in the bedroom was very comfortable. Very close to Gatlinburg. At night you can faintly hear someone off in the distance playing a guitar which is cool when you are sitting outside with a fire. Great place overall.

Mountain getaway
We were very impressed with all the personal tiuches Laura had through the cottage. From a large candy bowl on the counter, to Andes mints in the bedroom. Each room had little animal decorations. Perfect back patio for listening to tge birds singing and having a nice fire. All is there thats needed for a great trip. Comfy bed and great shower. Be prepared for lots of up and down roads and lots of curves. We definitely had a great time and would recommend Laura's cottage, great host! 😊
