This is nice quiet place along Pigeon River, nice scenery, easy to find and around nice shopping/dining places.

We had a good stay, however. The pictures on the website make it look like a 5 star hotel, but it’s not. It’s a really old building and it shows. Don’t get me wrong, it’s clean, everything works, staff are great but the pictures over state the condition. Yes the bathrooms have been updated, furniture is modern and new but it’s surrounded by a building that shows its age. Yes you have an AC in your room but it looks like it’s from the 80’s, you have 4 settings “fan hi/lo” and “AC hi/lo”, so you cannot set a temp on it. I think that it’s expensive for what you get, we paid the same amount at the Hilton which is way more modern and luxurious. Would I stay there again? If I cannot find anything else at a similar price sure, but I will definitely look around first.

The hotel is clean and well maintained. Only one thing i noticed that I didn't appreciate. The bathroom sink was slimey when I went to get my hair out of the drain. I don't think it was cleaned.

The room smelled and looked clean, it was a fair price, and I loved having the riverside balcony. My fiance was impressed as well. Something that would be neat is having those magnetic screen "doors" so you could keep the balcony door open without the chance of bugs :)
