“I did not stay there! I took one look at the place and left. I DID NOT STAY there. Expedia should be aware that people like me have some confidence that places are suggested by Expedia are based on some sort of examination. it was a sad commentary on the performance of Expedia, that they would put a place like that on their list of places of interest where one can stay. after travelling several hours at my age [80] to the presented with such a situation requiring me to look for somewhere else is……

“The staff Devina and Anthony as the front desk was so friendly and helpful! The pool area was kept nice and clean. The rooms were really clean and spacious! There was a slight miscommunication regarding the breakfast which was a little annoying but overall they tried to accommodate as much as they could which was appreciated. “Overall, like if the property had two star, the front staff is great friendly ladies who are very helpful. We went to go see the manatees in the national park and they called the taxi and got us there. The overall the property is nice and well maintained nice colonial style. The bed was good, air-conditioned room. Beyond that the food is exorbitant. The food was good, but I’m paying the same prices at a high-end restaurant in the United States. Also no one, but the front staff can crack a smile……

“The house we were supposed to stay in got cancelled after we landed in Guyana, and the owner let us stay here on short notice and basically saved our vacation! The house is in a convenient location between Cheddi Jagan and Georgetown. The beds are comfortable, AC gets really cold, ceiling fan in the sitting room and stand fan in the bedroom.”
