My main issue was the toilet barely worked. Called to the front desk and they sent someone who tried plunging for 30 mins or so, the place that I was trying to go get dinner was closing soon so we had to leave, she said something about sending a maintenance guy to use a snake, I don’t know if they ever attempted to do that or not but we had to go if we wanted to eat dinner. Got back to the hotel room, toilet still barely worked and we were scared to use it. The other thing was that access to the room is very limited from the parking lot. We had to walk all the way to the front just to walk all the way to the back where the room is located. No side entrances were available that we could discern. All of this would be pretty trivial stuff if it wasn’t for the fact that it’s the most I’ve ever spent on a hotel room in my life. I’m not exaggerating and it’s not close. I’m typing this as I’m sitting in the Amway Grand Plaza Hilton in downtown Grand Rapids.
