The room was pleasant and very comfortable. The most important thing that stood was was the quaintness of it. The bed linens were white as snow and the complimentary snacks were appreciated. I feel that this place is a jewel in Gilroy that is just waiting to be trully discovered for the beauty that she is. I was pleasantly surprised!

A very comfortable old-school motel in downtown Gilroy. Nothing fancy, but you don't choose a motel for that purpose, and it was quiet despite being on the main road. Check-in was very efficient and the gentleman let us check in early. Soap was provided but not shampoo, so bring your own. Fantastic restaurant, Longhouse, located next door - wide variety menu of down home food with hearty portions at very reasonable prices. Would definitely stay here again.

If you're interested in experiencing Old California while visiting San Juan Bautista, this is a lovely place to stay. It is fairly recently refurbished in old mission and hacienda style. The room we stayed in was well-appointed, comfortable, quiet and clean. The grounds are also very appealing. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, and even took home a few bottles of their signature wine from Leal Vineyards in Hollister. So far we've opened just one bottle--an 09 Cab--and it was wonderful....
