“This was a little tougher than expected. However it was altogether nice. More like renting a resort cottage. Would be great for young couples or groups of friends. Lots of little extras having a full kitchen and laundry. Shower not really an option. Local area very quiet. This also meant few options for pubs or restaurants except the local grocer. Slept well with the windows open and enjoyed magnificent views of the mournes and water.”

“This property is immaculate, everything was absolutely perfect! The view is breathtaking and there’s plenty of outdoor space to enjoy it from, my son particularly liked the swings, slide and football area we were allowed to make use of! The bed was super comfy and the bathroom is huge, we didn’t use the kitchen much as we were only there for 1 night but it’s very well kitted out with everything you could possibly need! The hosts are brilliant, you won’t meet nicer people and nothing was too……

Beautiful grounds and setting in the hills overlooking Newcastle-yet convenient to most everything. And the staff were super friendly and helpful. “Nice facility-friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant was very good. The spa was excellent. Centrally located and an abundance of self parking. The front desk was extremely helpful in finding us another room as the first one didn’t meet our requirements. It obviously is very popular/busy as a consequence it’s looking a little tired and worn. It could use some minor maintenance-eg paint, cleaning the grout in the showers, etc. We would definitely stay at the hotel again.”

“Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again.”
