“The Avoca is located along the sea front and the foot of the Mourners mountains. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive throughout our stay which was to celebrate my wife's birthday. The staff kindly presented her with a bottle of prosecco and birthday card - much appreciated. The room and bathroom were very clean and well supplied. The bed and bedding very comfortable. “Older but nice property about 10 minutes from Royal County Down. Water pressure is pretty low.”

“The location was great as a base for the local attractions . The facilities were basic, shower looked great with nice products to use but the flow of water was poor and kept going hot and cold . The restaurant was average with mass produced food . Buffet breakfast had many options from porridge to full fry up Plenty of free parking . Some staff need further training when asked basic questions like the verity of ice cream flavours on offer the response was I'm not sure so I promoted her to go……

“Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again.”

“This property is immaculate, everything was absolutely perfect! The view is breathtaking and there’s plenty of outdoor space to enjoy it from, my son particularly liked the swings, slide and football area we were allowed to make use of! The bed was super comfy and the bathroom is huge, we didn’t use the kitchen much as we were only there for 1 night but it’s very well kitted out with everything you could possibly need! The hosts are brilliant, you won’t meet nicer people and nothing was too……
