Golf Club of Coldwater Tours

This resort is situated in a lovely spot overlooking a lake. It lacked some of the charm of some older construction, but it was impeccably clean, attractive and well maintained. While we were staying just as one night guests, it is well set up to act as a wedding or event venue with everything you could possibly need easily available. I had a swim in the wonderful pool and and a quick dip in the hot tub. I walked all around outside and enjoyed the views and the landscaping and the birds. My husband and I also sat on their very nice outdoor furniture and it was quite peaceful. Our room was spacious and very quiet. The bathroom was lovely - very long and luxurious feeling. We had a little deck we could walk out on to watch the lake. The room also had a refrigerator and a coffee maker and lots of made in Michigan treats. Breakfast was quite nice with quiche, sausage, a large bowl of fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, breads and muffins (both gluten free and regular), coffee, juices, etc. Our dinner the evening before was quite good too. My husband ordered a steak, and when it was not prepared to his liking (too well done), they immediately and quickly replaced it with a nice pink piece without a bit of fuss. I was able to order a gluten free salad filled with nuts and fruit and boursin and lovely lettuce. It was a very pleasant experience. You won't regret a stay here. Give it a try!
