Room was clean, ice already frozen in trays in freezer. The property was quiet. No real issues, other than lack of hand soap and toilet paper in bathroom which they tried to charge for when I went to ask for some 1st night. Excellent VRBO Thanksgiving stay for our family of 28. We had a wonderful time. Well stocked. Lots and lots of room. Pool and basement games were a huge hit for the kids. Pine Lake Retreat had great amenities and location! The beds were super comfortable! The water in this area is really hard and high in iron. The only improvement I would suggest is a larger water softener system because it caused the water pressure to be very low when regenerating.

Host seemed welcoming. They went out of their way to bring shovels and salt at the first onset of a snowstorm. The stay was so peaceful and relaxing - just what we wanted. Beautiful lake view. Will definitely stay again if we return to Plainwell!
