I had a lovely room, with a large walk in shower, and great views over the River Clyde. The breakfast food was great. I ate at the restaurant one evening, and had lovely, fresh fish and chips. Unfortunately, I was not very hungry the next night, and wanted to order one of the advertised “small dishes”. But in that case I had to order two - that was the minimum order. So I asked to order a sandwich, but the hotel stopped serving them at 4pm. I ended up buying a packet of crisps from the vending machine in the hospital - not ideal!" Spa was an extra charge pp and is not for anywhere close to adequate access, when we arrived there were already at least 6 adults in a small hot tub. Wifi connection is totally unmanageable we had to hot spot our phones. Decoration is dated and decaying with grout missing in the bathroom and wallpaper peeling off the walls. Horrendous experience particularly when compared to some other 4 star hotels which feel a world apart.
