"We arrived late and staff was on hand to greet us. Very friendly and even sold us some of his own beverages as we could not find a place to get any. Good for an overnight stay before our flight the next morning. The cab driver who dropped us said not to go out at night in the area. I am not sure if it is truly unsafe or if it was due to a recent uptick in crime all over Lima the driver also mentioned. "

"The pictures used on Expedia for the rooms represent the room in its "tidiest state", but when you actually are in one of the rooms, the interior is in much worse shape (walls/beddding). The bathroom section has a toilet that barely has room for legs because a wall is in the way. At night mosquitoes can come in and so do cockroaches. While I am not scared of either, the mosquitoes are definitely annoying. While if you have command of Spanish, you can talk with the receptionist but if you don't...

He was very helpful with recommendations of things to do and places to eat. Joseph even helped us out on our return trip through Lima when we had a very long layover but weren't staying overnight.
