We didn’t look very closely at the room when we checked in because we had been traveling for twelve hours and our kiddos were hungry. We got back from dinner and found that the bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly, a window was broken, there was some sort of bodily fluid that hadn’t been cleaned off the tv, and the entire room (light switches, floors, etc) were visibly dirty. The cupboard under the sink in the bathroom had an open hole, and the sink had obviously leaked into the drawer below. It was too late for us to find other accommodations and we were far too tired to move our party of five to another hotel at that time also. We wouldn’t stay here again and are shocked that this property is listed on Expedia. I’ve stayed at quite a few hotel given the travel for work & play, even the nicest hotels have had crappy beds. I know a lot is based on preference but the beds here were so comfy I wanted to cancel our plans & veg out. The location to everything was perfect. Staff was very pleasant to work with, check in was very simple, along with check out. It is an old place! There is no denying that, however, we loved it & we’re pretty impressed!
