The parking was great after 10pm (free) I hesitated parking in the garage it was confusing and expensive for the short amount of time left 10pm to 6am was $23.00, I was worried about being charged an additional $23.00 after 6am.. I ended up parking next to the hotel after 10pm. I paid $3.00 in the morning at 830am to 11am, which was check out time. My ONLY ISSUE with The Sterling Hotel was internet access and Wifi was absolutely NOT available and very frustrating. Good thing for hotspots.

The hotel room was clean, the beds were comfortable, check-in was quick, and the staff were courteous and provided thorough information. The hotel is in a very convenient location—just across the road from Lake Tahoe. There’s a small restaurant nearby where you can have breakfast.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, the bed and shower were fine, but the carpets!! I stayed on the 3rd floor and the carpets are in desperate need of replacement. Very dirty and not very welcoming.
