"What a nice find! Very kind staff, clean rooms, no off-putting smells (strangely common on road trips). Comfortable, quiet, safe, budget-friendly accommodation. The period-building and rooms are dated, but that is part of the attraction to this motel. The property has served many souls, over many years, and the way they care for it, it will continue to do so. Owned and managed by people who give off very good vibes. You get the feeling they are happy and hope you are, too. To my surprise, they even offer books to read, in your room; can even take a book to read later! Slept comfortably, knew we were safe, parked at our door. We received good guidance on things to do in town and where to get breakfast. We were very happy with the value received. We have no criticisms of this operation, as they do a great job in the difficult hospitality industry. We will surely stop here the next time we do the cross country run."
