"Good breakfast and clean room. But expensive for level of amenities and size of room. Small pool and gym."

"We didn’t find the reception at the hotel particularly welcoming or helpful. Nor was there any information relating to local places of interest, which is unusual in a hotel that purports to be three star. But at least the place was clean and in a good state of repair. As to our room, because of a misunderstanding regarding our flight times on my part we had to book an additional night a few weeks beforehand, which cost us a considerable amount and the room we were given on arrival was disappointing. It was small, tired and the air-conditioning didn’t work. However, after the second night (it should have been after the first!) when our original booking came into play we were transferred to a much better room with an excellent view of the bay and happily everything in this room did work but both my wife and myself woke up each morning with fresh insect bites, so you can draw your own conclusion from that. Breakfast was ok. There was plenty of fresh bread and pastries on offer along with fruit and Greek yogurt but the hot food was never more than tepid in temperature and very unappetising. If we ever returned to Corfu it is unlikely that we would stay at this hotel again, preferring instead somewhere nearer the old town. "

"This was a one partial night stay - we had to be at the airport early to catch a 6am flight to Amsterdam. Restaurant service good - the pasta portions are huge so share with your travel partner or order something smaller. Room was nice with good hot water for showering. One overhead light was burnt out. Front desk arranged for early 3am transport to airport. Traffic light at that time so we got there in record time. Allow extra time if going during work/rush hours. Did not use any facilities like the pool. Bed comfy as were the pillows. "

"Check in initially went well. We were told we were given a room upgrade. The room was definitely not an upgrade!! The floor was under construction and the noise level was extremely loud! A lot of hammering and drilling. When we inquired how long the noise would continue, we were told it was from 9am to 9 pm. We asked for a quieter room and the front desk reacted with an attitude and our room was downgraded. There is no way the hotel did not know about the noise on this floor and they never seemed apologetic for assigning us to a room on it."

"I stayed at this hotel because of its close proximity to the airport. That worked out well for me. I have stayed at other Sofitel hotels before, and I thought that this one compared unfavorably with those. The hotel could use a refresh to bring up its standards. I dined in one of the restaurants for dinner and I found my food disappointing."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were friendly and attentive, the room was spotless and very comfortable. The bathroom was modern for an historical hotel. The location was perfect for exploring Corfu old town. I really enjoyed the view. "

"Absolutely wonderful stay! It was my first solo holiday trip in years & I was feeling anxious about going alone. However, I needn't have worried, the staff always made me feel very welcomed & 'at home'. A special shout out to Lulu (Lucrezia) & Nicolas on the Animation team for their positivity & charm! Lulu ran morning stretching classes by the pool & afternoon gentle yoga by the beach. Having yoga on the programme was one of the reasons I opted for this hotel, along with the spa facilities, gym & indoor heated pool. I was given a room upgrade & the room was beautiful, overlooking the pool and sea, with a seated area to relax in with welcome water & fruit. The outdoor pools were very cold but I still braved them everyday & on the last day it was very refreshing from the heat. As a suggestion, it would be nice to have one heated outdoor pool. The indoor pool, jacuzzi & steam rooms were lovely to warm up in after too although could do with a little sprucing up! The staff at the pool bars & lifeguards were also very welcoming & helpful. Thank you to Dennis for finding my bracelets left by the pool & to Lukas & Marios for being lovely waiters :) The food was some of the best I have ever experienced in an all-inclusive buffet style. Plenty of choice & varied each day so as to not get bored. The views from the restaurant were stunning & the staff friendly & efficient. It was nice that they remembered me & that I liked to sit outside. I can't wait to come back! :) "

"Absolutely fabulous. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a better hotel. Did Jacuzzi the view the food everything was just wonderful. The location is great too. It’s off the beaten path and a little less touristy like the other areas. Be sure to explore the local area there are a couple wineries and a cultural center there. All the employees on the property were extra nice. Great food. I wish I was there still."
