"The first impression was the front desk girl who barely said a word to me - she didn’t tell me there was a breakfast - so I missed that. I’m assuming it is the cleaning lady cleaning the rooms above me but it just sounds like someone was constantly hitting something above me early in the morning and it made it impossible for me to sleep. Also - if you like hot showers, this is not the place for you. The temperature gets like lukewarm."

"The Armstrong is a great hotel. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The location is great. The room was a good size, and the bathroom was large, but the layout wasn't ideal. There was only 1 sink, and nowhere to put your things. I had to call down to understand how to get the shower running. The bathroom floor tile was very old and really needs to be replaced. The windows were covered with film because our room had no view, and this way no one can look in. The hotel provided a sound machine and earplugs, but the walls were very thin, and I heard a lot of noise and conversation. If you are a heavy sleeper, it would probably be fine."

"Clean room to sleep in. Friendly, friendly staff, give them a raise. Breakfast hit the spot, clean area, host on top of our needs Sadly, we didn’t bring swim wear to use the hot tub and pool. Just a suggestion, have some generic swimwear for sale… Still will stay there, thank you, Eric"

"It's a bare-bones hotel. You must go to the front desk to get a box of tissues, coat hangers and a hair dryer, as well as other items you would "normally" find in a hotel. The one thing even a bare bones hotel should include is some kind of grab bar(s) for the bathroom. There are none. Whether you're young or old, we all need to feel secure getting into the tub."
