The property is near to the supermarket and shopping outlets. I also emjoyed the breakfast which was included inbthe room rate, and the staff were very friendly. Overall, a good experience.

We booked a Luxe swim up room..the pool was often closed for treatment. There was no ice machine, you had to the bar for ice. The staff would barely acknowledge you or speak. Some of the female staff were rude to my wife. There is one restaurant on the property and you can not order food outside of the designated times. Music from a local club could be heard from 11:00pm until after 2am. The bed was beyond firm, it was very hard and uncomfortable. The furniture is outdated. We requested a taxi to go to the opening of the Jazz and Arts festival. First,the taxi stopped to get gas with us in the car and then dropped us off in an unsafe neighborhood and we had to walk to the venue. The hotel does not care about the safety of their guests. I would not recommend this hotel. I read reviews and all information related to booking trips. I feel like Coco Palm dubbed me. I was very disappointed!

This long-standing establishment is close to but not on a lovely beach with clean fine sand and crystal clear waters. To access the beach is about a five minute walk along a rough road lined by a sketchy looking wall topped by barbed wire and broken glass which leads to a part of the beach used by local families to enjoy the water. We walked this road many times without issue but it would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues. The food was good but not gourmet. While this area is only about 38 km from the airport it is an hour and a half, $US100 cab ride through the mountains. We chose the “all inclusive” option but when we arrived found out that there was a substantial surcharge for things like steak or shrimp, or bottled beer (even the local beer) which we then purchased when they ran out of draft beer one day.

This was our first time visiting St. Lucia and we could not have chosen a better place to stay than Coco Palm. The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to assist with any requests, especially Anaman, David and Carleen. The on site restaurant is great and the included buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. The pool and surroundings is beautiful and relaxing. The room was excellent, spacious and bright and very clean. The location is excellent, just a few min walk to the beach and Rodney Bay shopping and restaurants. We will definitely be returning to St. Lucia and Coco Palm is where we will be staying.
