"The location was purely breathtaking. The house was amazing, but a few issues that did crop up such as the cleanliness could have been better, wi-fi was 3mbps not very fast and the AGA was not working on arrival so had to wait for engineer to fix and once fixed it stopped working again in the last week and did not work for the remainder of our stay. But this does not stop me giving it 5 stars, you will be blown away by the beauty of the accommodation and area. Beach one way and stunning waterfall another. Kitchen is very well stocked. Sitting in the window seats just watching the beauty change from minute to minute was peaceful and enchanting. We have truly fallen in love with Scotland and this place in particular."

To experience it for yourself, you'll have to travel 180 miles away from the national capital, Edinburgh, and into a place called Lairg.

Without any listed options within the immediate vicinity of Handa Island, visitors have to go outside of this area for a room. The Inver Lodge is your best bet since it's roughly 16 miles away.
