“The room had damp and wood chip wallpaper that was hanging down from the ceiling!! At a cost of £145 per night !! I would have been better camping on the stray We moved rooms and guess what it was just as bad . It’s now reached the end of its life and needs a complete renovation of the hotels bedrooms or reduce the room prices to around £50 a night Stay at your own risk I won’t be I don’t leave reviews but I don’t want anyone else to waste there money”

“Harrogate is a nice place to visit. And Yorkshire is well located in front of nice greening and very handy to a lot of shops and restaurants. The breakfast is very nice with nice view. I would definitely want to come visit again ”

“I did not like the fact that while I did not book with free breakfast, I was still charged for my coffees in the restaurant. You would think someone staying in one of the Penthouse suites would at least get free coffee in the restaurant.”

“Beautiful decor in the lounge and dining room. Bedroom was lovely, clean and spacious. The down side was on arrival I checked in and was told to the pay for parking at a machine. I was there for 2 days and I was charged £30. I spoke to the receptionist and she said I must have put in pm. 9.15 is am to me and that's what I put in. The receipt said 21.15 hours. Receptionist gave me a number to ring but it kept hanging up. Very disappointed with that part of my weekend away.”

“Second time staying here. Nice room with all the facilities you need. Bed a bit small. Getting in the property using the GOKI app they said to download didn’t work. Stuck outside for 15 mins trying to get it to work. All info requested entered but still said not checked in. In the end used the key code. All in all can’t fault it really, location right in the centre of Harrogate. I park in west park car park on tower road next to Travelodge as 24 hour parking for £9.00.”

“The bed was quite comfortable and the duvet cover very soft. I didn't expect much as it was on the cheaper side but was positively surprised. I also like how chilled they are about check in and check out. Overall I can recommend”

“Beautifully appointed rooms. Massive bed, fab shower and roll top bath, plus luxury toiletries. Great evening meal and excellent range of food at breakfast.”

“I booked a room specifically for the air conditioning on the two hottest nights of the week. I booked the room through Expedia and checked and double checked that the room was listed as having air conditioning. When I arrived I was told the room did not have air conditioning and none were available. I had no other option to stay on such short notice and could not have got a refund anyway as it was booked through a third party. This is completely unacceptable and, quite frankly, unforgivable.”

“The Camberley is a hidden jewel in Harrogate I usually stay with a friend’s B&B but sadly it was booked for the week I wanted to be there. I took a chance on the Camberley and was very happily surprised. Kimberly was very lovely to deal with and she was very responsive throughout my day. The location is fantastic as it in near restaurants, pubs and transportation. I would recommend this B&B to anyone, check it out yourself.”

“Lovely stay in a period hotel. Staff, food and our room were lovely as were the hotel grounds. Parts of the property are in need of a bit of TLC but it didn’t affect our stay in any way and we would stay there again.”
