"Simple rustic cabin in the north woods. Hunting theme was nice with funny pictures throughout - definitely Michigan. No one else was around while we were there. Easy drive, bike, snowmobile, or walk to Bear Lake across the street and through the woods. Previous comments mentioned no guardrails in the loft; they definitely fixed that with a sturdy railing. "Overall decent property to stay at. Upon checking in I received a phone call regarding no internet service and was told there was an outage in the area. Our 3rd day a cable guy arrived and found a bad line outside of the home and was able to get service restored. No discount was offered for any inconvenience.
