“The staff came early in the morning to clean my room pretty much insisted on entering the room so they could empty the trash and put clean towels out we checked in literally the night before when we said it was ok she could come back later she pushed in and started doing it. Other than that the resort was nice the breakfast was amazing I didn’t like the room too close to everything and loud.”

“Lovely place to stay in Petoskey, Michigan. It was our central location to come back to each evening after sailing in Traverse City, traveling to Mackinaw Island, or finding our way to Legs Inn through the Tunnel of Trees. We enjoyed the big porch, eating pizza with friends while we watched the sunset over the lake. Fresh cookies in our room daily! No room TV's to distract, but a nice game/TV/library room to use when you needed it. Also morning beverages available there if you were leaving……

“Staff was awesome and room was clean. Can't say enough about the staff. Very helpful. Room 120 however was next to the icemaker in the lall and the door is not sound proofed so heard the ice machine being run all night long and people loudly talking in the hall. Don't get room 120 for sure. Amenities however were lacking. Pool was cold and uncomfortable for swimming in. Hot tub only has a ladder so orhopedically challenged people like myself can't get in and out easily. So I opted to not use it……

While the property manager responded to our texts and generally sent maintenance within 24 hours, the property suffers from poor upkeep and temporary fixes. “Great location if you are wanting to travel around Northern Michigan. Cute town with a convenient grocery store, Mammoth Distillery Lounge and great little pizza place. Check in was easy, but no personal communication from owners. Only automated messages. Unit could have been cleaner. There was sand on the floor and some laundry in the dryer which was strange.
