Loon Golf Resort Tours

We were really looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. The hotel looked nothing like the photos online. The room was extremely outdated, had a strong musty smell as soon as we walked in, and there were bugs in the room, which made it feel unclean and poorly maintained. The odor never went away during our stay and made the room very unpleasant. The resort itself was also not what we expected. The pool area was in poor condition, with tiles coming off in multiple places, making it look neglected. The balconies had many splinters, didn’t feel safe. We were surprised to find that many of the amenities advertised either weren’t available or simply didn’t exist. For example, there was no arcade or other family activities as we expected. Aside from golf, there was honestly very little to do at the resort. The location is beautiful, and the surrounding area has plenty to offer, but the resort itself did not deliver the experience that was advertised. For the price we paid, we expected much better accommodations and amenities. I hope management invests in updating the property, addresses the cleanliness and maintenance issues, and provides more accurate photos and descriptions so future guests know what to expect.

Although ‘soap’ was included in the bathroom, no shower soap, nor shampoo, was available….handsoap only. This unit is probably OK for a single traveler, but not for couples. Cheap furnishings and poor craftsmanship of finish work…trim, flooring, paint, etc. No air conditioning…just a small ceiling fan, with the pull-chain out of reach to adjust the speed. Regular size bed was mattress only, no box springs. Price was unreasonable for this property. Not impressed and will not return.
