"Great location almost next to Ballenstedt Castle, spacious apartment with good facilities and comfy beds. Whilst the building is clearly a work in progress the top floor applartment is nicely done up, although some areas could do with a bit of attention. But everything is fairly clean and the location is perfect to go and explore the village and beyond into the Harz mountains."

The building is listed in the Fachwerk Museum in Quedlinburg (worth visiting if you want to understand how such places were built historically) as having been constructed in 1485! Wir würden freundlich empfangen und beim Gepäcktransport durch den Lastenaufzug der Vermieterin unterstützt. Auch nützliche Hinweise und eine aktuelle Wander Karte gab es zum Empfang.
