"We had a very pleasant stay overall. The location is excellent, and the property itself is charming. We really appreciated that they allowed us to check in a little earlier than the official check-in time. The room was more spacious than we expected and had everything we needed, including a microwave, coffee station, luggage area, and even a table with two chairs, which was a nice touch. The main downside was the bed setup. The mattress itself was okay, but the pillows were very uncomfortable. I think having at least one slightly firmer pillow would make a big difference. On our first night, the air conditioner made a repetitive clicking or ticking noise, which was a little annoying when trying to sleep. Interestingly, we didn't have this issue at all on the second night. Also, on our second night, the shower water only got warm rather than properly hot, which was a little disappointing after spending the day outside in the chilly weather. Other than those issues, we had a really nice stay and enjoyed the motel. I think the one thing that is really important to improve is the pillows, as replacing them or offering a firmer option would make the stay much more comfortable. Overall, we felt that the motel offered good value for the price we paid."

"4.8 stars would definitely stay here again as a solo female traveler. Everything was as expected. Front desk staff were very helpful. I checked in at 8:45pm on a Friday night so I was very appreciative of them being there to assist me. Parking was conveniently located by my room. As a single female traveling for work and staying alone I felt totally safe. I got a little turned around in the parking lot (I was tired) and a gentleman I assumed was the owner helped to point me in the right direction. The Outdoor pool was under construction (it’s October and 50’s so no one would be using it now anyway) so that will probably be amazing next spring/ summer. Bed was comfortable (firm but not too firm) and room was clean. Only negative was there was a small stain on the rug under the air conditioner from it, but honestly I didn’t care. I was happy for a clean room and clean shower/ tub and a safe place to sleep for the night. Will definitely stay here again if the need arises."
