“Excellent staff . I would stay again.”

“Main Pool, Gym and Bar were under maintenance however, make shift arrangements were available. I would have preferred if this was informed at the time of booking. Apart from this, Front Desk, Room Service, Restaurant crew were fablulous and went out of the way to make us feel comfortable. ”

“Good rooms excellent view but reception not very flexible about payment though they have my card details .”

“Had a wonderful 1 night stay in gokulam grand in kovalam. Staff were very kind and welcoming. Service was fantastic. Our room was very clean and well maintained. My only criticism is that the activity room could be maintained better. Only the table tennis, foosball and pool table were somewhat usable. The tv didn't work, no proper board games and AC didnt work either. ”

“Everything has an old look in the cottage - the view was good but everything from the aircon to fittings were really old and worn out. Getting a Uber from the hotel is a real challenge as there are regular taxi drivers who charge triple the rate waiting at the entrance to turn away our booking. Really frustrating when the hotel can’t help us with this matter.”

“Rooms were outdated, and the washrooms had poor ventilation with a foul drain smell. Despite booking three Coastal View Rooms together one book TDforExpedia booking, we were given two rooms on one floor and a third on another. Third room was on first floor which had a minimal coastal view. The hotel said the bookings came through separately and couldn’t place us together, which was disappointing on a family trip. The rooms were in an older section of the hotel (on the very far end), and the pool……

“The room was very basic, the staff were polite but not that helpful”

“Spotlessly clean hotel, attentive staff nothing is a problem. Room fine, A/C and ceiling fan , TV which you can access Prime and Netflix if you have an account. Wet room shower with plenty of hot water, some rooms have balconies, so check when booking.Complimentary breakfast was freshly prepared and excellent. Hotel located on the beach, beach is worked by the local fishermen upto about 11:00 most days, very little hassle from beach hawker’s. Four or five restaurants within easy walking, loads……

“De locatie voor bezienswaardigheden is heel goed. Hotel is zeer gedateerd, oud en smerig. Hygiënisch is het ook heel slecht. In badkamer hing aanhoudend riolering lucht. Je moet vragen voor room cleaning. Geen waterkoker aanwezig, op verzoek werd er 1 gebracht, kamer was niet schoon. Op verzoek werd het wel schoon gemaakt. Heel mooie balkon met een prachtige uitzicht, maar vies tot en met. Ontbijt stelde niks voor heel karig. Wij gingen naar een andere restaurant voor onze dagelijkse ontbijt. ”

“Bedsheets were not changed before our arrival. We had to ask twice for them to be changed. Room was comfortable but not clean. Attention to detail would make the stay that much more enjoyable. ”
