The tiny Hellnar church with its cemetery next door to the hotel, the walk to Anarstarpi and the cliffs with all their roosting birds should not be missed. The lava cave is also very good.

We checked in a day early after an abysmal experience at our previous hotel - and we’re glad we did! Beautiful location, comfortable beds, spotless room, exceptional staff, and amazing breakfasts and dinners. This was a truly memorable place.

The location was gorgeous, perfect for the sunrise and set. There were beautiful Northern Lights right outside the door. It’s also located close to breathtaking experiences and tours. The cottage is cozy and clean, really cute! Would recommend!
