Every single member of the staff made us feel like we were family and was genuinely interested in making sure our stay at Hotel Sand Castle was fantastic! The hotel is on one of the prettiest beaches on St. Croix and the restaurant is also a destination on the island for its food and amazing sunset views. We have already made plans to return next year!"

"Let me first say that the pictures provided do the house some justice but seeing the property in person truly allows the quest to see how beautiful the home actually is. When my guest and I entered the home we were mesmerized by the layout and the fact that each room has its own separate gems inside which makes it hard to choose which room you actually wanted to occupy. I chose the room with the shower outside which was a wonderful choice! Taking a shower with nature surrounding me gave my spirit a sense of peace and comfort! The house is also equipped with many items that were needed during the stay! On my second day in St. Croix I went to the beach and while in the water stepped on a stone that had sea urchins on it. Needless to say I got one of the spines from the organism in my foot and thankfully was able to receive aide and help from the hosts which one was a medical professional who successfully removed it from my foot! Thank goodness for that because the spines can be poisonous and I did not want to take a trip to the hospital whole on vacation! The house was truly the highlight of the trip and the evenings spent on the patio/deck congregating with my family brought laughter, love and joy to my heart! Thanks again for sharing your beautiful property with me and my family!!! "

"Our stay with Island Castle was perfect! The 2 bed/2 bath was spacious, clean and everything functioned as expected. Mary and Morisa were fantastic hosts and checked in often to ensure we had what we needed. They were extremely responsive when we reached out for anything. The view was exceptional and it is a quiet property. A true, relaxing experience. We will be utilizing this property again!"

"My husband and I enjoyed a very comfortable stay at this cute, well-appointed, well-looked-after, and well-stocked apartment. Our on-property host, Carmen, was attentive and caring (but not obtrusive), sharing some picked-off-the-tree bananas with us, as well as letting us know about a serious (but soon canceled) weather alert. Her two dogs were happy hanging out on her front porch, not bothering us (the people who prefer cats to dogs!) or barking at us. We did have some trouble finding the property, but if I had just clicked on "directions" in the vrbo listing, google maps would have used coordinates to take us directly to the place, no problem. If the vrbo listing shows Whim Road, use the same street number BUT use Morales Drive for google maps. The kitchen seemed to have everything you need for making meals. We made some simple meals, but tended to go out once a day for a meal (especially liked Alba in Fredericksted for tasty local food). The apartment is a very quick drive to Armstrong's, where we bought pints of locally-made ice cream to keep in the freezer. There was some food (left by other guests? Carmen?) in the fridge and cabinets -- you may want to see what food is in the apartment before you go grocery shopping! The apartment is in a residential neighborhood, which means that there are chickens, roosters, and even a female peacock roaming the streets -- so you'll hear them when you're inside the apartment. We didn't mind it, since it's part of living "local"."
