Heron island smells awful of bird poop. Everywhere! At $350 a night, no a/c or window screens. Snorkeling was amazing! Staff were present. Breakfast was good. Pizza not so much. Salad I had was served with mustard as a dressing. Gross.

The location, overlooking Catseye Beach, was perfect for us. The beach was a short walk away, and there were nearby restaurants, buggy hire and souvenir shop. The room was clean, spacious and well-equipped. The staff were friendly and helpful. Stayed 7 night s there and would happily go back.

Such a unique experience for us... sunrise, sunsets, turtles hatching, snorkel with lemon sharks, turtles and so many other incredible creatures.
