This was a fantastic place to stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. My son and I stayed in a two-bedroom apartment, and it was beautiful and very spacious, with a view of the ocean from every room. We appreciated having all the amenities of a hotel along with the comforts of home (kitchen, laundry, and separate spaces). And the location couldn’t be better; it’s just across the street from the beach and a few minutes’ walk to tons of shops and restaurants. We definitely would stay here again.

Nice place for multi-day stays

The 10am checkout and 3pm check-in, sort of removes that extra hour that I'm used to with 2pm checkin being the industry norm. Thought that was weird. All all all place is well located, great restaurants on Level 1 and nice facilities on Level 5.

Fantastic family getaway

Fantastic location in the heart of surfers paradise and easy walking distance to lots of eateries, activity zones and convenience stores. Couldn’t fault the location at all right in front of the beach. Spacious and clean property with wonderful amenities. 2 great restaurants on site as well as a small cafe that you can use for breakfasts however we enjoyed the kitchen in the apartment and cooked a basic breakfast every morning. Views of ocean from the seating area, the main bedroom and a small glimpse from the second bedroom so that was fantastic to wake up to. Heated pool indoors and outdoors were well utilised as the days were sunny but cool and evenings were really cold. Sauna was also wonderful. Loved this hotel, if I were to return to Gold Coast we would definitely use Meriton properties in other locations now.

Off site parking was annoying but i think parking in GC is always going to be an issue. A lot of sand was left in the bottom of the shower but other than those minor things, it was great

The Marriott in Surfers Paradise is a brilliant resort. Clean, great amenities, close to the main areas, fantastic employees. Our family loved it and really appreciated the special feeling everybody provided during Christmas particularly.
