“The room was massive and clearly newly decorated. It was let down on the first night by the previous occupants filthy towels still being in the room.
The other major issue with the room is the noise. The room is at the front of the hotel and the noise from the revellers outside and the sound system just below the room meant no sleep.
There should be a new word for places that charge you to stay but you can’t actually get any sleep.
On the plus side the staff were friendly and the cocktails……

“We arrived in the hotel early and left our luggages to the hotel staff. When we got back our luggage in the evening, one of the suitcases was apparently damaged. The staff tried to fixed it twice but failed. I was promised to be given at least a letter confirming the damage so that I could send it our insurer, and that the hotel would give us membership points as a compensation. The manager also said he would check the cctv and come back to us.
